Hello Sir,

I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on July 27 through a sales person (Mr. Chandru - 9845699115) who came and collected a cheque worth 500/-. He told me the Airtel guys will call me up in two working days. I waited for 4 days. Repeatedly called him. He kept on giving one or the other reasons. After that, he logs in the application after a week or so. I get a call from the vendors who provide connection asking me for my address so that they can look at the feasibility. I help them with that. After that he says it is not possible to give connection. The next day another person calls me up and tells everything is fine. We are waiting for the work order so that we can give you the connection. Yesterday, Aug 13, the vendors call me up and asks which modem/router I wanted. And they also said I have to pay for it. Rs. 800/- for normal modem or Rs. 1400/- for wifi router and another 500/- for the telephone device. I was shocked to hear this. I was told that the modem and the telephone instrument would be given free by the sales person. I was not convinced with them. They said they used to give free phone and modem before and the rules have changed now. I finally agree to that. He told me they will come and give the connection in the evening. I came early from office and was waiting for them. They never turned up. I called up one of their supervisors (Mr. Shiva - 9945590904) who promised me to send a person immediately. I again waited. No signs of anybody. He then gave me another number (Vijay - 9945590558) who in turn gave me another number (Deva - 9740990802) who told me it is not possible to give the connection now and it will be possible only the next day Aug 14 at 10: 30 AM. I agreed to it. Today, I waited till 11 AM. Tried calling all these numbers. Either their phones are busy or they don't receive the call. I tried them several times and in doing this spent more than 100/- on call charges. Then i get another number (Jay - 9741101891) who tells me it is not possible to give connection because of technical feasibility and they need the approval of some guys and they will get to know if connection can be given only on Monday.

I then called up the sales person who said I cannot help you and to do what I wanted. It is extremely frustrating for me to go through this ordeal. I took a day off from office today to ensure the connection is given and I have waste my time, money and energy.

I request you to please take appropriate action against these frauds and help me get my money refunded.
