Hi,
I have applied for Airtel broadband connection more than 15 days back. I was assured at the time of registration that installation and activation would be completed in next 3 days.
Since then no one from Airtel has ever contacted me for any installation work.
When I reached out to people I interacted with when applying for the connection, don’t give me any info regarding the same. This dilly dallying has cost me a lot.
Today I came to know from customer care that my application for broadband has be rejected because Airtel doesn't have infra to support this. Is it not the reponsibility of Airtel to a) not misguide customers when they dont have infra to support new connections b) intimate customers about rejection of application?
Now very clearly I asked the sales rep who sold me this plan, whether Airtel would be able to provide a connection or not. He gave me 100% assurance that the installation and activation would be done in next 3 days.
I immediately want the registration to be cancelled and 500/- paid towards installation fee be reimbursed.
I never expected Airtel to have such shoddy customer orientation.
I for sure won’t use any of Airtel services in future, neither would recommend anyone the same.
