Hi,
I had cancelled my broadband connection in order to take the Airtel IPTV connection. However, the Airtel retention team member called that they would offer me a better plan at a lesser cost and i could keep the connection..
However, I explained him that since I was taking the IPTV from airtel i was not needing the connection. But this man insisted that he is going to put my cancelled connection on 205 plan which will be weaved off after 1 month if I continue to use the IPTV. So, i said ok.
This is when all problem starts. After the 1st month of usage I see that airtel sends me a bill for 205. I spoke and explained about the weaver with lot of pain because the phone agents are real dumb!! They have not idea of what a customer speaks.
After this I have waited about 2 months and I called today. After 27 mins of call i was informed that the amount is waved off, however it has been deducted from my refund amount which i am supposed to get after cancellation. On insisting more explanation, the line is disconnected by the agent. I was surprised that they DO NOT KNOW the meaning of weaver as the money is disconnected from the refund i am yet to get after 3 months of disconnect.

Can someone from Airtel look into this and do something?
