I wrote my first email to airtel customer care on 14/08 when my internet and land line wasn't working for 3 consecutive days. I got their auto reply with a 24 hour resolution promise. I waited another couple of days before I sent my second mail to them for which I got a 72 hour resolution promise. The chain of emails continued until 19/11 when I got the service officially disconnected. Nothing was working a single minute during that month. They didn't send a representative to fix it. No visible action was taken. However, after disconnecting the service, they send me a bill of Rs. 2300. While my connection was working, the bill was around Rs. 600. I refused to pay the bill and mentioned that clearly in writing to them. Now they have sent me a legal notice! What should I do?
