Last year I used Airtel Broadband with landline number 4006229 for around 3 months. In the month of November, I shifted from sec-64, mohali to sec-67, mohali. I sent a letter request for shifting my connection but no response was taken. When i called on the helpline numbers, they told me that your residential area is not wired and will be wired after sometime and my number was put on hold for more than 3 months. I needed an internet connection very urgently so i bought a wireless connection of some other company. I therefore sent request for cancelling of my number but my number was not cancelled despite so many requests. Still I am facing problems to cancel my number because the company wants me to give a bill of Rs 500 for that period in which my number was on hold. They said that your number was not able to cancel due to some technical problems and now you will have to pay the bill unless you will have to come to court. The last time i used the connection was way back on Oct. and till that date all my bills have been fully paid So, i am requesting you to please take some action andcancel my number as i will not be able to pay my bill. I shall be very thankful to you.
