I also want to know the shopping in a duty free shop at the airport is also under custom duty?
I can also send you the scan copy of the receipt for your ready reference as I have been charged as I didn't do any negotiation.
In that receipt the fellow also mention the Indian series no. as I was repeatedly telling him that you can't compare the price list of the product as that LED has only available in perticular shop. The treatment given by them is not so good for an Indian national like me. I was considering like I was in another state. And it is always happens in Mumbai airport as last time I was asked to give 20 doll..for chocolates I brought with no receipt. But this time I asked to give receipt from that fellow (Kamble).
Hope you will understand my conditions and try to give me positive reply.

Dear Sir,
Today morning I landed in Mumbai airport at 2.00 AM from Dubai by Jet Airways.
I was carrying one LED TV (32 inch) and 2 ltr duty free Liquor.
I always follow the rules and regulations and always oppose any form of corruption.
Till date I was proud to be an Indian person. But last night I was little bit nervous about the behaviour of the officers at the airport.
As per my knowldge you can shop till 25000/- INR as a duty free. As I followed our government of India sitefor rules and regulations.
My TV cost was 1479 DHM (including discount) and I was showing that bill to the officers along with website informations.
But they were not ready to listen. As per that the amount was less than 25000/- INR. But those people showed me the product list which was made in India. I surprised the way those people were tackling to a country man. I was thinking like they were treating me like a thief. I was repeatedly telling them you can not put indian price as those model was not existed in india but they were not ready to listen. I even surprised as they asked me tax for the duty free liquor shop. they also asked me tax amount for chocolates.
Now its my humble request to you to take care of my suggestion as I have been fined for the goods which were less than 25000/ INR or may be I am not aware any hidden rule of the Indian customs.
I have also copy of that bill. But frankly speaking I was not sleep well in the whole night as I alwayz follows the rule. I am ready to accept any mistakes if I hurt some body's sentiments but I alwayz follows the rules.
