Labour Complaint
Not Given Judgement

Date: 16 February

Respected Sir,

Sahara India Airlines & Jet Airways merged in 2006. Sahara India Airlines assured that all the employees will be accommodated. It is unfortunate that leaving only few members, we (110 employees) were relieved of our jobs.

We are on the verge of starvation. When Air Deccan, King Fisher, Indian and Air India had merged, none of their employees was relieved of their jobs.

We had contacted the office of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Congress President. Whose office had forwarded our letter to the Labour Minister Shri Oscar Fernandes (Copy attached).

We were happy that regional Labour Commissioner (Central) New Delhi issued a notice to the M/S Sahara India Airlines & M/S Jet Airways (Copy attached). However, no action has been taken by them and ever since our appeal is lying in the cold storage. Our case is going in CGIT-cum-Labour Court No.2, room no 33, Labour Court of Karkardooma.

Our case lists are (1) 40-Vinod Kumar Vs Sahara India Airlines, (2) 42- Dilip Mandal Vs Sahara India Airlines, (3) 43- Tika Singh Vs Sahara India Airlines, (4) 44- Wazir Singh Vs Sahara India Airlines and (5) 45 Jagdish Parshad Vs Sahara India Airlines. But we have not received any good response by Court and Employer.

Since we have not been given our jobs we would therefore request you to get us our salary and all other dues/bonus till date.

Yours faithfully,

Shri M. Veerappa Moily, (Unemployment Employees from Sahara India Airlines)

Union Law and Justice Minister, (List attached)
