I have 5 policies with LIC of India, Branch 931. Policy nos are 902172721, 902172722, 902172723, 902172724, 902172725. All the above policies are under Plan 27-0. The policy allows to change theplan from whole life to endownment after a period of 5 years. A period of 5 years have elapsed and I had not chosen any such option as result the policy should continue as a whole life. But to my surprise, the branch has exercied such option and converted the whole life policy to endownment. As a result my premium has increased and I have not been informed about the same. Hence, I am filing complaint against LIC to restore the features of original policy and accept my premium as for whole life policy.
