We booked the Ticket for 06 Passengers from Kingfisher Airlines Website for return journey from Kolkata to Jaipur, on 10th April & return on 15th APril wide Booking reference no. NGTBYZ To our utter surprise, when we reached the airport & approached kigfisher airlines check in counter, the attendents straight away rejected to entertain us & forwarded us to Deccan counter, informing that all the formalties will be from Deccan counter as well as all the in-flight facilities are of normal deccan stds. We paid almost Rs. 1500 Extra Per Person just for booking through Kingfisher Website rather than Deccan. To fool us even the flight no. was mentioned as IT 4754 (la kingfisher), but later on we found that it was Decccan DN754. We never though in our dreams that Brand so highly connected with CLass & service will go down to such standards & needed to cheat passengers to earn profits. Kingfisher AIrlines just acted as a Booking agent for the Deccan Airlines & robed us almost 30% more fare. Moreover, the biggest fuss happened we were not allowed to board the flight on 10th April boarding time on boarding pass was 4:40pm and flight departure was 4:55pm we were able to do our security checkin at 4:50 due to long line infront of the security gate and flight was scheduled to leave at even when we reached for boarding 10 minutes prior to departure at boarding gate as we were arguing with people in Kingfisher reservation counter which was located in the Arrival side of the Airport. We begged the Deccan & kingfisher airlines to let us board the aircraft as we were travelling with our kids for thier religious ceremony, no body relented or cared to listen to us. We also requested them to atleast adjust us in the Delhi Flight, which was also denied. They refunded our Taxes amount that also on quite a followup.
THIS CHEATING IS STILL GOING ON BY THEM!!! THEY TAKE 20-30% HIGHER PRICE FROM PASSENGERS IF THEY BOOK A DECCAN FLIGHT AND THINKING THAT ITS A KINGFISHER FLIGHT AS THEY CHANGES THE FLIGHT NO ALSO AT THE TIME OF TICKETING. HOW THEY CAN TAKE BOOKING OF A FLIGHT DN754 WITH IT4754 AND ON ARRIVAL AT AIRPORT NO KINGFISHER EMPLOYEE WANT TO ENTERTAIN US AND THE FIRST KINGFISHER REPRESENTATIVE MET US OUTSIDE AIRPORT FOR HANLING OF LUGGAGE REFUSED TO CARRY LUGGAGE AS HE SAID ITS A DECCAN FLIGHT NOT KINGFISHER AND WE UNDERSTOOD WE HAVE BEEN MADE FOOL AND TO MAKE MONEY THIS SHIT IS GOING ON.
