Extremely bad service

I have an Asianet TV. For the last one year, most of the lower channels (up to 25) are extremly grainy and often nothing can be seen. I have complained many times to Asianet (very difficult to get even a person to answer) and they came once and said they will be back, never to be seen again. Now, even worse, there is frequent disconnectiosn (for the last 3 days there is no TV).

I had paid for 1 year service in advance. Since then many channels like CNN have been disconnected and no rebate given

Asianet is the worst service provider and I am switching to a competitor as soon as my one year payment is up.

I also had a so-called broadband connection, which suffered the same fate. It was always down. Since last April, there was no connection and no one came to repair despite repeated calls and finally I stopped paying (I always pay in advance). Since then they have been harassing me to pay Rs.7000 for service they never provided. They call me every week, send me several SMS when I expalined to them that they had not provided servce. This falls on deaf ears

I wrote to TRAI, who has taken no action againt these criminals. I plead to all the people who can not to use Asianet service at all. There are much better options available for you. As for the internet, I took BSNL ADSL, which is 100 times better and cheaper too.
