Care-taking and handling of India's No 1 train

On 8th of June, I and my family members travelled from Surat to Delhi by August Kranti, the food was horrible and whenever train stopped or take-off from any station the Jerks were so heavy it left behind the journey by bullock-cart. I was in compartment no. A2

Similary when I returned from Delhi to Surat by August Kranti on 20th June, the same problem was prevailing i.e. heavy jerks, but to my surprise I saw a Big Cable wire passing from our coach B1 to B2 as there was some electricity failure and this happened when train moved from Mumbai to Delhi but the complaint remained unressolvedattended at Nizamudhin. The earlier story of Jerk and bundle food continued but suddenly after Mathura Air-condition of B1 stopped working. Suffocation in the coach started hurting everyone except Railway Staff, on inquiring they said the machine will start in 15 minutes but this 15 minutes never turned-up and it went into one hour, two and more and the light went-off in all the three coaches B1, B2 and BE1. We asked T.C.i.e. coach attendant who threathened us if we pressurise him to inform another station, he will call 25 to 50 RPF people, then we called IRCTC manager Mr. Pravin and asked him to bring complaint book but he too didn't turned up, then I personally went to Guard coach and informed him Mr. V.K. Sharma to inform the next Railway centre i.e Kota to get help but I don't know whether he has done anything. After that I collected phone no. of Mumbai control room and informed to help us.

But to our surprise when train reached Kota we were able to see one lorry carrying Cable wire again to pull the power from another coach and about 20 to 25 RPF peoples to control the passengers who were cool and not the technician to repair the fault. Latter on one by one every one from technician to Station Supdt., to DRM came. But one part to be noted was Guard Mr. V.K. Sharma after seeing such huge crowd he never stepped down on the station and continuously gave green signal to start the train and train started but our co-passengers pulled the chain after that I went and requested guard to come and evaluate the situation and then start the train. The train stopped at Kota for about 2 hour and more and A.C.'s of all boggie started then only train was allowed to start.

Further I will like to bring to your kind notice that even after the train was delyaed by more than two hours at Kota we reached Surat at Share 6.15 aM. IS IT EXTRA RUNNING TIME GIVEN TO THE TRAIN OR THE DRIVER PLAYED WITH THE LIFE OF PASSENGERS.
