Is it true or not that they told me by email that i had won 8million dollars

Hello sir, once i received a msg from australian lottery inc, that they told me that i won 8millon dollars. this is the system of selecting a somebody's e-mail by electronic selection, this was told by them. please verify whether it is true or not, i'm in great confuse with this problem
