We travelled from Jayanagar 4th block to BTM (udupi garden Signal) at 8.15 PM on August 29th. We took Auto. Auto driver ask us to pay 10 Rs more on Old meter. We said ok. He took long route by thinking we are new and Northies. Insted of coming from Sanjaya Gandhi&--gt;Carmel school&--gt;East end he jumped the signal and took Jayanagar 13th block route. When he is giving accelator meter was jumping with high speed and when we reached udupi garden signal it was showing 6.1 km and 43 Rs.(normally It is within 3.5 to 4 KM). He showed us new chart and ask us to pay 64 Rs.
We didnt agree because in chart it is showing 54. He asked 10 RS extra on new meter!!!
Some local citizens helped us. But he started scolding them in bad kannada words. At last we gave 60 Rs. and reported this issue to nearby Traffic police. When I was taking his Auto number he shouted like "Nimmatra enu agalla, Yaratra en kitkotiri kitko hogri".

I am reporting only because It should not happen to others (Especially for Non Karnataka freinds)
