Exorbitant fares

Dear Sir,

This is in regards to the exorbitant fare being charged from passengers ferrying from Airoli Sec.6 towards Koparkhairane, Turbhe areas. They are charged a FIXED SUM. None of them have a running meter or a fare card.

I happened to travel for a week on route from Airoli to Turbhe. I was ASKED to pay Rs. 120. One day i got an auto from the same stand. This guy had a working meter and card. He charged Rs. 90/- for the same route. Now since the minimum fares have dropped from Rs. 13/- to Rs.11/-. They are still charging Rs. 120. Reasons given are as below

1. Commuters from companies like Reliance etc are charged a fixed rate. Difficult to understand this logic

2. No fare cards

3. No manners to talk to fellow passengers

Hope this would be looked into but still doubt that it would be solved
