Dear Sir/Madam,
My dad Mr. S.K. Parthipan was having his Salary account in Axis Bank. A/c no: 368010100010548 expired on May 17th due to Road Accident. As per procedure we were informed from Bank that Bajaj Alliance will be settling the claim for 2 Lakhs as accidental claim, since they are detecting yealy charges for all the customers. As a follow up, we sent the details legal heir certificate and all the other proofs for claim processing.
But the claim has been rejected from BAJAJ ALLIANCE mentioning there is a need for the account holder to maintain 2500 as quartely balance to cover under insurance coverage.
But he was having salary account and there is no neccesity for maintaining balance. If the insurance is covered only for the savings account, then why have you detected the fees for insurance in salary account.??? If I enquire in bank, they are telling that there is no need to maintain quartely balance and the claim is genuine. But still now they have not taken any action on this.
Kindly help me as we are in high distress and suffering a lot. This would be really helpful for us. Or should i do any legal formalities or need to get approval from Human rights or any other sources. I am ready to get the things done for getting this claim.
