The conductor was really rude he asked a girl for 8 Rs from EC to GarvePlaya while other conductors are taking only 5 rupees. That girl offered him 5 Rs and then he started scolding her and warned her to throw out of the bus. That girl gave her 2 Rs that was in her hand and was taking out another rupee from her pocket but inbetween that cruel conductor was talking her in really misbehaved manner, His words were " DE DE tikal nahi to phek doonga (Hindi)" Hey pay me the money else I will throw you out.
That girl simply paid the money and kept quite but the idiot conductor was laughing on her and was making fun of her with all other Kannadians sitiings on the back seats. As that girl was not comfortable with Kannda language she was simply watching their faces and wanting to get down as sson as possible.
Even I don't think conductors have any criteria for charging fares on Passengers. as look at these figures.
EC - Majestic 11 Rs
EC - Silkboard/Forum 10 Rs (Half the distance from first)
EC - Garveplaya 5/8 Rs (half the distance from second)
EC to next stop 2/3 Rs (half the distance of third one)
All these figures also depend upon the kind of conductors you met on the bus. And misbehav is Buses by conductors is very common these days. Many times I saw them trying to get closer to the female bodies until they scold once.
