SHORT DETAIL OF GRIEVANCE/COMPLAINT
Sir, I am working in a Govt. of India Undertaking. As my place of posting is in a very remote area, I applied for Education loan for my Daughter Km. DEBLINA RAY thru’ Online portal of Bank of Baroda. On principal sanction of loan amounting to Rs.2, 69, 800 was communicated vide sanction order no: EL-0003737 dated 26.8.2009
As advised by Mr. Pravin Chanda Kumar of the said branch, my daughter along with her mother met the Branch Manager Mr. C.P.Mukherjee on 27.8.2009 with all relevant documents pertaining to her. The first question from the Branch Manager was not encouraging. He asked why you have come to my Branch? She said that this the nearest Branch from our residence and I have come as per the instructions given from your Branch upon prima facie enquiry of my online application. After that the Branch Manager start humiliating my daughter & wife by asking irrelevant questions detrimental to a conducive atmosphere. His intension was to humiliate, harass my family and not to sanction any loan. Finally, my family returned from the Branch with a very bad impression, experience & pain. Sir, today is the day of woman empowerment as Prime Minister Of India has announced 50% reservation for women in Panchayat & this very occasion, your Branch Manager has humiliated & discouraged a young Girl Child whose dream was to pursue higher studies. Sir, I want a thorough investigation of this painful incidence.
