This is in reference to my various teletalk with customer executives since last 2 months. Since I am not getting any proper information from the credit card department, I would like to discontinue the service and request to kindly send the extra amount of Rs. 73/- which I have paid at the earliest.
I have been using various credit cards like Citibank, ICICI etc since last 10 years and not faced such a problem by this services. You can also check with them as I am not a defaulter or late payment maker since last 8 years. They are sending regular bills in time and there is no late payment from my side.
I got a credit card of Barclays bank in the month of June with various offers. To just start your services, I used this card with a purchase of small amount of Rs. 207/-After that I have been waiting for the bill for making the payment. I could not understand what is the billing circle and date of payment that is why I paid an amount of Rs. 280/- (which I could understand later that I paid additional amount of Rs. 73/- without knowing due to non receipt of bill) after that I called your customer service twice and could understand that the billing circle and payment date. At the same time I have requested them that since I don’t have any idea on the billing circle you should not charge any late payment for this and send a new bill mentioning Rs. 73/- as a credit.
You can understand that if I am not making any payment to the regular bills it is my fault. But this is due to your mistake that you are not sending any bill and without any bill how can I make the payment? That is why I contacted your customer service after making an additional amount of Rs. 73/-.
You can also understand through your common sense that if I have received the bill in time, it is not a matter of making such a small amount of Rs. 207/- to you at that time and do not want to wait for any late payment. This may be also right, if I have been making irregular payment on receipt of repeated bill or so. Till date I have not received any bill, I am getting only SMS on my mobile that you have to make this payment by adding late fees.
You can see that on purchase of Rs. 200/- why should I wait for making Rs. 800/- as a late fee!!!
Since I am using your service first time, and the first impression of your service is like this way, I don’t want to continue your service and want to cancel the card. Even your customer executives are also not in a position to talk with their customers in a good manner to manage the problem. You are therefore requested to send the balance amount of Rs. 73/- which I have paid to you extra without knowing my bill amount at the earliest.
Even though I have informed this detail to your customer executive earlier, there is no meaning of adding late payment by every month when I am not interested to continue your card. So please take a not on the same and if I want to continue to use your card please send a fresh bill to me by crediting Rs. 73/- in my account and confirm at the earliest.
All this information is already passed to your customer executive
What to do in this case??? please suggest
