Delay of Passport

I have applied for passport on 13-june from Belgaum city. And one month back police verification has been done and they have sent it to Bangalore on 8-August (VR/PASS/3321/08). But still I have not yet received my passport. I wanted to know about status of my passport. And after police inquiry i am not getting any other feedback. Its been two month. Please suggest as what will going to happen and how much time will it take.
