Sir,

The system of booking, delivery and cancellation of booking now follows causes much difficulty to consumers. The consumer has to wait for the delivery of cylinder from day one itself till delivery takes place. If any customer failed to present at the moment of delivery the booking is cancelled. And the process repeats. There is no limit for period of delivery. Though a delivery is offered with in two week, the period varies from 2days to 45 days.

Some method of intimating the consumer about the delivery date is very essential. Now a days SMS can be used as method to intimate most of the consumers. Any consumer will be happy to bear the cost of SMS than wait in the home or depend on the neighbor’s mercy (if any) on all the precious days.

My customer no. is 16724 of Sreemon Gas Agency, Kodakara ccno. 621873

Booked on 15/9/09

Cylinder brought on 30/9/09 without any intimation.

Booking cancelled on 30/9/09 with written advice to rebook because the person who was at home just went out. I couldnot rebook as the phone for booking is not receiving any calls till today the 5 th October 09.

This is an example. And is not a complaint against agency.

Please find a method to reduce the difficulty caused to the Bharatgas customers.
