I need to book a complaint for sale of defective product and non-replacement of defective part of the cot that purchased from Big Bazaar Coimbatore. Purchase date-14/02/09. Complaint date-14/02/09 (Complaint endorsed on delivery memo, but no action initiated till date). Repeated telephonic and face to face complaints were in vain.
Very lethargic staff, including managers and customer care executives. no follow up, no courtesy calls for delay, false assurances that the part will be replaced within 7 (seven) days. but till date u may calculate the number of days. The person sent for replacement of the defective part brings the wrong piece for changing/replacement (total communication gaaaaaappp) and before leaving asks for a tip (Tip for what? for not replacing or for just showing up?) I have lost total faith in the system. I truely wish to publish this complaint on all possible media due to frustration. I also feel like telling every friend, my dear ones and all strangers out there to avoid Big Bazaar. It seems Big Bazaar sells things cheap or may be we can say it sells cheap things. when i demanded compensation for delay, i was told that only the item will be replaced and on insistence they offered a bean bag worth few hundreds or a thousand bucks. Is that fair enough for more than two months of waiting and agony? what is happening? is management sleeping or peeling oranges or knitting sweaters or simply SCRATCH### B#L#S? shame on such mishappenings. Actions should be taken against the delivery boy for false assurance of replacement, in charge of delivery for not going through the delivery memo's endorsements, customer care executive for not following up with delay and courtesy calls/for protecting the staff from higher authorities/not giving feedback to the manager about pending complaints, manager for improper and uncourteous dealing with the customer in resolving the issue/lack of managerial skills and approach towards customers' grieviences. Will u not agree that it’s a total management disaster? The whole team seems unfit and unproffessional
Management at higher levels to take immediate action before the goodwill and image of Big bazaar is tainted. time to remind you of the saying 'one rotten apple spoils the whole basket). TIME TO DECIDE-- BIG BAZAAR OR BIG 'BAD' BAZAAR!!
