I hold some shares in the Bank, which I purchased through E-SOPs offered by the Bank, when I was a employee of the so called Bank. I subscribed to 32 shares in the year 2004 through a scheme called DSPP. The Bank has declared dividends for the shares in the year 2008. I had not received the dividend for these 32 shares, though I had received dividends for the rest of the shares held (164 shares) in the year 2008.
Therefore, I had sent a couple of e-mails to the Bank's head office in Paris, France. I had received prompt response from there (Paris-France) asking me to take up the issue with their HR Department in Mumbai. So I had sent ATLEAST 5 E-mails to them asking for the status on the same issue. But there is NO Response from them to any of the e-mails sent by me, in the last 7 to 8 months.
I want a simple REPLY from them telling me why they had not paid my dividend. May be that these shares are not eligible for dividend in the year 2007 or 2008. BUT AT-LEAST, please let them reply to me so. If these are eligible then let them pay the same to me at the earliest.
In the last one month, I was again trying to send an e-mail to them. But, it seems they had blocked the access to their server from my e-mail address. Therefore I am not able to send any more e-mail to them.
If they think that my e-mails are nuisance to them, then let them say so, I will make an apology to them. I think it is the most important thing for any Bank/company to reply to the shareholders/customers queries, if the queries are GENUINE.
