I would like to bring it to your notice another grievance by our very own Electricity Department.
We are a small IT Outsourcing Co. operating from a Residential Bungalow in Mundhwa. We have commercialized our Infrastructure and also upgraded our Billing from Residential to Commercial.
All was doing fine until for the current bill, for this month, has been raised as per the Construction Billing Rates, which is unacceptable as there is no such construction since last 7 years. Be informed that this is an Independent Bungalow.
We spoke with one of the Members of the Supply Board and was referred to another member – Mr. Muchande of Hadapsar Unit, who is in charge of verification. We are advised by him that another inspection needs to be arranged and rather than rectifying the error, he delayed the process.
Please be informed that Mr. Muchande is the person who had done an earlier inspection and tagged ours as Commercial Meter.
Our consumption for the month is 739 units. Ours should have been close to Rs. 5ooo/ however, since the billing is carried as per Construction rate, it has been calculated at Rs. 11520/ which is more than double.
We conclude that Mr. Muchande is having some selfish motive and even after commercializing our electric meter earlier, is asking for another Inspection & Verification.
