I have a personal bad experience with Brand factory Bangalore. I bought a Fossil watch for Rs 5400 from them. After a few days, one of the links in the strap became loose. I immediately went to the Fossil showroom and they told me that a DUPLICATE pin was placed in place of the original. The Fossil executive there told me that the person had removed the original pin to fix some other watch and there was a duplicate pin in its place! (This is apparently a common practice!)
I immediately went back to BrandFactory and the people there vehemently denied it in the first place. It was such dissapointing customer service! Only after I called up the fossil showroom, did the person there agree that there was a mistake. He promised to call up his sales person and get the matter rectified. I left with him promising to call me in a few hours. I didnt get a call that day or for the the next 3 days for that matter. I went back to the store in a fury and was told that the person was on leave for the week!! And they just expected me to understand and walk away. I mean i bought a relatively expensive watch and this was the customer service?!? i was Appalled!
I however, did not leave and asked to speak to their superior. After much hush-hush talk among them they gave me their superior on the line. He just shrugged off blame saying that they got the watch from someone else! What kind of a pathetic excuse is that?!? I told him that since i bought the watch from them (Brand factory bangalore) and NOT from their dealer, they were responsible for it. I asked for a replacement and the person had the audacity to say that "if i got a written statement from the fossil showroom" he would give me 2 watches as replacement! I actually went back to the fossil showroom and took down the number of the fossil head. Today I go back to the store.
I cant believe that I have to run around so much for what is their mistake! Iam thinking of lodging a police complaint against them for sellign tampered goods and masqueradign them as new! i do not want my money back. all i want was a replacement which tehy should have the good grace to give.
Instead I am left with feelings of anger and frustration.
