I (Davinder Singh Ghuman) have applied for credit card about six months ago to Canara Bank Branch Gurdaspur (code 1402) of state punjab but after 3 months i came to know from the head office at banglore that they have not recieved any information regarding issuance of credit card in my name. When i approached the bank with regard to this they asked me to refill the credit card application form and the required documents. I again completed all the needed paperwork and submitted my application. Now again three months have passed and the bank has simply no answers for the delay rather being a govt. institution the take it easy as issuance of credit card is of no direct benifit to them. I would further like to bring to the notice of concerned authorities that i am a class I govt. employee (veterinary doctor) drawing a monthly salary of 26000 and my salary comes in this bank (A/C No. 1402101027858). I urge upon the authorities to consider my complaint as genuine and take the required action.
