Unabe to operate the account due to sheer negligance of canara bank parent branch

I, O.N.Tripathi, 76 years old, have a savings account no 1445101020864 with the bank for more than 20 years now, was very happy to learn that with the core banking operations I would no longer have to go to my parent branch, HAUZ KHAS, NEW DELHI which is 25 Kms away from my current residence, Sector 62, NOIDA, instead I would be able to operate my account from a branch in SECTOR 63, NOIDA, which is just 1 Km away from my residence.

Today when I went to operate my account, to my surprise, my request for withdrawal was turned down as the parent branch had not scanned my signatures and sent to the branches.

I was told by the executive at Sector 63 branch to go to Hauz Khas to operate the account or to lodge a complaint.

What is the purpose of CORE BANKING. Is it to harass a senior citizen like me.
