sub: Unhappy with the services rendered
I Anand Goradia, had rendered your services for the packaging and delivering goods on 2nd Nov. from mumbai, 801, saraswati apts, chikoo wadi, Borivli west, mumbai 92. to nashik, 15, Shreeji dham CHS, Bunglow no. 15, Lam Rd, Nashik.
I would like to share my experience with your esteem organisation which was horrible and miserable. i am extremely sorry to inform you that, one of your employee Mr vinod Kumar from your Mumbai (Vashi) Location had come home to render the services and gave us big time talks and promises with respect to the delivery of goods. We had couple of quotations with us, however we decided to give the deal to Caravan since, you are professional and well organised Organisation (as informed by Mr Vinod kumar). However, once the deal was confirmed, the packers who were suppose to reach the said destination on 1st nov, at 10:00 a.m however the men's reached at 11:45 am. and started their packing and left the house at 5:30pm stating that they only work till 5:00 pm.leaving the work Half way. As communicated by them they were suppose to reach the next day and start the left over packing and leave for Nashik by 2:00 pm. however they failed to reach the next day on time and took an entire day to pack up till 9:00 pm. The Truck left the same night. The sad part was we were suppose to reach nasik the very same day by 6:00 pm.and there was a delay of one more day and My parents had to say over night as a guest, in the neighbouring house which was not accepted.
we tried to contact Mr Vinod couple of times but he was not reachable, which showed the unprofessionalism from his end. We are too in the service industry and we believe in After Sales Service. The reputation of the company lies in the hands of the sales dept.
After reaching to Nashik, I unloaded the truck and managed to place the things as per the marking. the Truck driver was in hurry and wanted to leave urgently. I, had signed the delivery voucher which had also mentioned "good received unchecked" which can be verified from your end. there after one of your packers had accompanied the truck to Nashik who helped us to unpack the glass items (i do not recollect his name). He was unable to unpack the trolley, dinning set, wooden TV set, centre table and he lied and ran away from there, informing us that he is going to purchase something. We waited for quiet some time and he did not turn up. We tried to contact mr Vinod but was unable to reach him and thereafter we spoke to Mr Rajiv Singh in Delhi, who assured us that he will get back on the issue in an hours time. he did get back to us and informed us that vinod Kumar was not reachable and no one was there to respond at that hour. He told me that he will get back the next day but however he too failed to respond and we called him at 12 noon, and was informed the some one from Bombay office will call me. Rajiv singh said "since I have signed the delivery challan the things are done. we would not be in the position to help you.
There are few things which have been broken by your professional mens: 1) Chandelier costing Rs 2, 000/-
2) Legs of 2 wooden cupboards costing Rs 300/- (Carpenter work)
3) Leg of Computer trolley costing rs 200/-
4) Steel Cupboard was scratched and the paints were out.
5) Stair case of Borivali House was broken and the society has charged Rs - against the maintenance.
There were few more things which were repaired and few to be thrown. we were informed by Mr Rajiv that we will be paid for the compensation.
The reason of this long letter is to bring to your notice about the professionalism as CARAVAN Packers. I was waiting for the feed back from your office which failed, hence i am forced to write this letter.

We hade sent the above email to their Delhi Head Office and a CC copy to their Bombay office. But there was no response from them. Then on November 18 I called up their Bombay office and spoke to one Mr. Tripathi who informed me that he shall revert on the issue but in vain. We did not even find our Steel cupboard keys.
By this gesture we have come to know " HOW PROFESSIONAL THEY ARE " as claimed by their marketing people who come to take the contracts.
WE WOULD WANT TO TELL EVERY ONE WHO IS WANTING TO MOVE THEIR GOODS NOT TO GO TO THEM AS THEY ARE NOT WORTH TO BE RELIED ON.
WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REPLY FROM THE HIGHLY UN PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE " CARAVAN PACKERS & MOVERS "
