Some mistakes in Passport

Hello sir,

I Got my passport on 9th July. I got it from Tirunelveli. My surname is different from my father's name. But they have printed both surname and father's name as same..I need to get my father's name corrected in the passport. will it be done in madhurai? How many days will it take..Because currently I am working in Bangalore. Or can i change it from Bangalore itself.
