I booked for Gas on 9-6 and was told that it will take about 2 weeks. Today, on 24th June when I inquired I was told that they had visited the house on 16th and 20th and since there was on one at home I have to book again and wait for another 10 days.
In this procedure we are at the mercy of the Distributor as there is no way to verify their claim. Also, as a genuine case we may not be at home as we have no clue which day or which time they will come for delivery.
I would like to know whether there is a better procedure for letting the consumer know about the date of delivery.
