Nondelivery after even 9 weeks

We were the first ones to book Spark - Lt - Platinum, immediately after the ad of General Motors offering a concession on the 14th October. At the time of booking the representative of m/s Sundaram Motors told us the delivery period would be 2 to 3 weeks. The cheque for Rs 25, 000 was collected by him and also released by the company.

It is now nearly 9 weeks and there is no response from them, not not even any communication from them. Whenever we telephoned, they gave all sorts of excuses like over booking, car has been despatched and there has been a delay in transit, General Motors is closed for 4 days etc, adding that they would get back in a couple of days. But they had never even telephoned us once.

Even if there is heavy booking we should have got the car long back, as we were one of the first few to book the car.. It is not clear how this delay. When this was pointed out to them, they had no answer.

What is suprising at most, is that there is no written communication from them, not even a confirmation of the order and allotment number, although they have collected the advance.

hence please look into the matter and communicate the correct position and arrange to deliver the vehicle
