I had been issued a CITIBANK credit card no. 4568 2289 6935 8004, which was not used at all by me.
once a telly marketing executive called me and asked me to enrol for the insurance policy scheme to which i agreed on assurance that if the offer does not suit me me i would be at liberty to withdraw the same within 1 month.
when i recd the first bill, i decided to forgo the insurance scheme and called up the citiphone helpline and requested them to cancel the scheme as well as my credit card which i did not require. the customer care executive confirmed that all my entries have been reversed and my card has been cancelled.
i still kept on receiving the bills including accrued late payment fee and other charges every month.
i called up the customer care executive (Nitika) on 06-09-07 and apprised her of the undue billing, to which she again assured me that i shall not receive any bill in future.
till date i am receiving the bills including accrued late payment fee and other charges.
