Wrong procedure to collect dues

Dear Sir,

I hold two Citibank Credit Cards since Two and a half years and have been making the payment on time always. I have never skipped a monthly payment.

Due to an unfortunate event of my passing away in Feb i had to go out of town for his funeral rites, and it was a time of sorrow during which it is only human to forget about making payments on time. Even at that grief-struck time, Citibank Collection guys had continuosly kept calling me for the payments failing which they had even blocked my cards.

And even after making payments after that they made late dues on my card and have been continoulsy calling me at odd times. They even call me up on Sundays and keep asking for payment details, that too after makng payments on time. I dropped Two checques for month July payments and they have lost it in transit, they dont take responsibility.when i call them to report about it, they disconnect calls and they repeatedly calls and charge late payment fees and increased rate of interest. They even increase the rate of interest and do not inform the cardholder.

I hope my grievances will be looked into at the earliest.
