Refund money for Coal India IPO - not credited in Bank A/c

My Son Shri Abhijit Guha had applied (application no. being 6468413) for 50 shares of Coal India IPO through M/s. Karvy at Siliguri, Nanak Complex, Sevok Road. The Money has been debited from his IDBI bank account on 25.10.2010 as he issued a cheque for this purpose. But he has not been allotted any share and till today the refund money has not been credited to his bank account.
