Ladies and Gentlemen

I regret on buying a Compaq PC. Say its my fate on buying a Compaq desktop.

1) Purchased it from an authorized dealer. When the computer was installed, i found files stored in the hard disk. On calling up the dealer I was told the compuer I purchased was a showroom model.

2) In the offer Compaq had promised gifts (Compaq web cam & headset) worth Rs1800. On making the payment of Rs40, 000 (purchased accessories) the dealer told me that I have to first register online on the HP/Compaq website which would generate a CODE. They make a DD for Rs 200 and send it Compaq along with the invoices and sticker on CPU carton. I did all these and submitted every thing in time. Finally after 10 weeks (8 weeks time is what they said) i called them up and they said some bloody excuse and returned my DD and other documents through courier.

I warn you people not to go after freebies offered by Compaq and always buy a computer preferably a fresh one (not a showroom piece).

Now i purchased DELL laptop and i am very satisfied with it.
