DELAY IN SERVICE AND WORST QUALITY OF SERVICE AND NO SATISFACTION OF CUSTOMER

After symantic antivirus definition run on LAPTOP & I restart my LAP but it is not displaying WINDOWS page. Just display /BOOTING till COMPAQ page and again REBOOTS from that black screen onwards. One of my friend telling that MASTER BOOT RECORD corrupted. When I given it HP service centre they are saying uncertainly it may be problem of MOTHERBOARD. Is it chance to happen like so? For telling this they took minimum 7 days. they said wrong information we will tell you the problem with in 1 day. but now 6 days passed. i given on 18-oct.toady it is 24-oct. They are charging for non warranty LAPTOPS 1000 rupees. Why they are doing like this?

why don't they tell exact problem within right time?

why they given wrong intimations continuosly last 6 days with out telling problem?
