I had purchased 1 no. Creative Zen Stone (1 GB capacity) from
M/s J.J. Mehta & Sons at Dadar (W) on 12/8. At the time of purchase I was informed that if faulty, the player would be collected from my residence and returned back also. I would not need to go to the service centre.
In course of my using i found that the battery would not recharge and the player would go dead withina few minutes of playback.
When i visited J.J. Mehta with faulty player they said I would have to personally go to the service centre and I was given the name and address of the service centre, India Digital Lifestyle Distributors Pvt. Ltd.407 Arun Chambers Tardeo, Ph:66106802/04. Mr. Yogesh 9930370974/9820574127.
I have given the player on 24/5 for repairs for which a receipt was given. I was told the player would be sent to Delhi for repairs and would be delivered to my residence.
After inquiring for many days and many occassions, I personally had to go to collect the said player after confirmation by Mr. Paresh that the said player was ready.
On my visit on 4/7/08 the mp3 player purchased by me was found to be faulty and not working at all. I was given a used
mp3 player which was in bad condition unlike my original new player. Also the same problem persists with the replaced old player.
I would like Creative to replace with a new player.
