Harrassment from HDFC credit Card department

Hello,

I have a HDFC credit card which I use very rarely. I use other credit cards as the HDFC service is very bad. I do not get the statements on my address, email or no any sms alerts.

I got a call last month from HDFC for the payment of Rs. 400.00, I paid it assuming that I might have used the card. This month they called up again with the amount due Rs. 5000.00. I told them that I need to get a statement to check the details and then, I will pay accordingly.

They are not in a position to explain the charges, will not send the hardcopy, will not even send duplicate statement on the email address. But, they talk very rudely. HDFC employees are very unprofessional.

As a customer, we have a right to ask for the statement to know what we are paying for. An employee Preetam used the words "We will not send any documents, you pay the dues if you wish to".

I am very disappointed with such service of a reputed bank like HDFC. I would like to know what action I can take in this case.
