Dear Sir,
I have droped the cheque in your Old Madras Branch on 07.05.2008 of Rs.5409/- for my credit card payment of I.C.I.C.I. Bank. On inquiring, it was not received by credit card wing till 13.05.2008.Hence as per their advise stop payment instruction was given and cash payment done for the same on assurance that late payment fee will not be charged. Rs.55/- was deducted for the same from my S.B.A/c.
I have received the SMS on my mobile that payment has received on 14.05.2008. Again one SMS came on 28.05.2008 as my due amount is Rs. 6567.92 which is suppose to be Rs. 6289/- as per the SMS received on 07.05.2008. This difference was due to above cheque returning amount as per the customer care center (spoken on 29.05.2008) reply. The officer has asked to send such mail to you to get reverted the unjustified demand. In last month also the same case happened. I have lost the credit, by making cash payment as well as unreceived cheque encashment by the Bank for same bill.
Please look in the matter to avoid such incidence, I am afraiding to use the card due to such hassels.
Awaiting your early response, before the due date of my next payment i.e.09.06.2008.
