I am a Resident of Durga Vihar Colony, Devli, New Delhi -110062, and this is to inform you that We are facing acute Water Shortage problem in our Area. Now it has been more than 3 months that there is NO WATER SUPPLY IN OUR AREA. We have made many complaints but no result. There few other Tubewells in the same are that are working. But Our Tubewell incharge says that there is no water level in the ground and the fact is thet there was some motor problem in the month of May-June and when the repair was done, they have installed a motor of Lower Capacity and it is not able to provide water to all the connected houses. As a result we are facing the horrible situation for last 3 months. we are forced to buy Tankers (Rs. 400/- Per Tanker) which is not a small amount for Lower/ Middle class families and tanker water is not suitable for drinking. So most of the time is spent in buying and searching of Water. We have made complaints many time but no result, Authorities say that a New Tubewell is sanctioned and need to be dugged but WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN!!! And the worst part is that we have received the DJB Bill also for the above said period! what and why should we PAY when we havn't seen a Drop of water during this period. I request you to kindly look into the matter and Take the necessary action in this regard to SOS as early as possible. I along with the colony members will be highly obliged if suitable action is taken. Waiting For a Quick response and Action in this regard.
