Dear sir,
I am IIT mumbai student. I placed an order for dell studio 15 on 8th oct.2009. It was delivered on 14th October. When i open the box and laptop display was defected with large black spots on the screen. I immediately inform the customer care and sales person regarding this. Both assured me that new laptop will be replaced with this within a week on phone. I have send lots of mails to both with pictures of damaged product. But haven t got any reply from both in written. I continue to call customer care for a week regarding this but no proper solution was given. And in all this my lots of time avg 4hrs a day gets wasted due to long waiting s in call and call on holds.
Then i send the mail to head of dell mr.sameer garde and action was taken immediately within a week and at last system was delivered to me on 29th oct.2009 after a lot of harassment and dissatisfaction.
I ask the customer service to compensate for all the harassment and my money wasted on all this extra process. But no proper reply from there side again.
I suggest you friends not to purchase dell laptop.
