I had booked a Laptop - Dell Inspiron 14 R (N4010) Direct Base on 18th August. It had been delivered on 7th September.
After it had been delivered the laptop was not turning on, immediately we lodged a complaint on 9th September (tried on calling the next day i.e. 8th Sep but could not get through). On 13th Sep 2010 Monday they had sent a techinal person (Mahindra - TECH ID -607360) who dismantled the whole system and came with a conclusion that there was a problem in mother-board. He replaced the mother-board with a new one but still the Laptop did not turn on.
Now the person who registered our complaint (Sumana) is saying it will take about 35-40 days for complete replacement of Laptop.
Tried contacting the Sales Person -Amit Naik, but he is not responding for my calls or mails. Even the customer care, every time we call they say diffrent dates for Refund some say 20 and some 50.
We do not need the Replacement and have asked for Refund of whole amount.
The customer care person is telling it will areound 50 days for Refund. with 2000 Rs/- deducted.
How can they do such a thing, we have not used the laptop even for a minute and for that they are taking 50 days and - Rs. this is horrible.
