I am holding a DEMAT account with ICICI for over 5 years now. You will agree that ICICI does not open any account without proper documents including PAN card and proof of resident. I am also having Priority Account with ICICI Bank.
I was told two years back that I need to resubmit my documents which I did.
Again I was told to resubmit the documents as they are lost. I represented that this is not acceptable. ICICI Bank convinently charges for any duplicate documents or services they render. I advised them that it is not possible to submit documents all the time due to the Bank's carelessness. I have to incur expenses which needs to be reimbursed. Without addressing the issue, my account has been deactivated. No one approached me.
I have lost money due to the careless and high handedness of the Bank.
Whom should I approach to ensure that ICICI Direct is made to behave them selves and to compensate me for the losses? Please advise.
