Day before yesterday i accompanied my friend to this shop "Devendra Telecom" in Basavanagudi Bangalore to get my friend's cell phone repaired. They took the cell phone and promised us that they would do it in a day since a component had to be replaced. They told us to come n collect the phone the next day. They promptly charged us 100Rs for Service 850rs to replace a charger component (which was damaged... supposedly)
Day 2 : When we went there we were told that since it was a national holiday they could not service it and asked us to come bak again the next day. The representative was disinterested to listen to our plight even after we paid for our service (950Rs)
He promised again that next day it would be ready and told us to collect in the morning.By this time my friend was getting restless since she had no option to be reached by anyone in 2 days.
Day 3 : We were greeted with the same old lame excuse citing that the component was being checked and it would take another day. We immediately demanded our cell bak and the money which we paid towards our services. To this these Devendra Telecom guys bluntly refused and started blurting some obscene foulmouthed words towards us. He even asked us to leave from the showroom when we were handed our phone.
Sadly there were no MAN!! to support us for the injustice these guys have been doing in the name of service. The people were being just being impotent watching as mute spectators.
Finally we got our 850Rs back but still ended up paying him 100Rs without any reason. These guys shoo-ed us away from the showroom. Though we were embarassed but still we were happy from within that we werent amongst the impotent people.
Please Please never ever make a mistake by buying a cellphone or giving your cell phone to DEVENDRA TELECOM, Basavanagudi Bangalore.
