I bought Corel Paintshop and tried downloading it. I use download accelerator and the stuff started downloading. Suddenly it stopped and started asking for password. I typed my Corel password but no luck. I went and clicked the download button again and this time it showed me an error that left me stunned. It said, you can download only 5 times. Download accelerators in general open multiple connections to the downloading object and thus I could not download. So I paid 10$ extra for extended download thinking it will help me download. Poor me, now the cap is 15. And my DAP got stuck. I contacted the folks at digital river who said they cannot help.
I do not understand why the software companies deal with such companies and thereby losing credibility.
