On May 30th my daughter of 3.4 years was brought by me to adminster the HepA vaccine in Devi hospital in the morning hours. Everything was done well except the injection site.
It is well aware that this injection should be not given at gluteal region and it is very well specified in the data sheet supplied by the manufacturer (GSK). I contacted the GSK uk office and came to know that in this case the vaccine is just void and it has to be repeated. Also when i personally visited to see you MD in regard to this yersterday night it happend to talk to his opd doctor who confirmed with the pediatricien that this is wrong procedure and has to be repeated after one month.
Now my question is the who is the affecter party in this case? I visited your hospital since Devi Hospital carry a prestigous interternationl ISO standard. I too work with some ISO auditors (DNV) so I dont beleive how your doctors just ignore the proper procedures.
So please kindly tell what should I do now?
