I had some blood tests done from Dr. Suri Lab Pvt. Ltd., Pusa Road, New Delhi on 28 March.
I misplaced the cash receipt somehow and now when am about to file for reimbursement from this company that I have taken Mediclaim from, I went to them and explained them the whole situation. I politely asked them to reprint the receipt so that I could submit the same.
But to my horror Dr. Suri refused point blank saying that it was against the policy. He said that they had given me the receipt once and if I had misplaced it, I should bear the losses, and just asked me to leave.
I just want to know whether it was against the law on my part to ask for the receipt again?
