I am Ruchika Singh writing this complaint after two weeks of harrasment by the Elctrolux Cusotmer service team. I had purchsed electrolux refrigerator in 2007 (Model Number ER 180 PR ER 180l) from Vijay Sales, Borivali (West), Mumbai outlet.
The refigerator stopped working and I had lodged a complaint to the Electrolux cusotmer service center and my COMPLAINT NUMBER - CSER8B25032. A technician had come to check the fault after seven days. I was informed by the technician that the Compressor of the fridge was not working and had to be replaced, so, he repaired the compressor so that it works temporarily. He had given me a time frame of two days and that the part would be replaced within that period.
Now when the technician did not come after seven days, and my fridge stopped working again, I called the electrolux customer service center (where the don't give proper response) in Mumbai and requested for an explanation. They said they had spare parts problems and the part will be replaced in two working days.
My refrigerator is within the warranty period.
I am requesting the kind and timely intervention from the consumer complaint forum and please help me in using my Refrigerator again which has been kept shut for the last few days. Please help me on this issue as these companies do not want to serve there cusotmers after the product is sold.
