We are into Jewellery manufacturing & exports, wereas we were already using 25 Vodafone connections for the company executives and management. We approached Global Direct (Mumbai-6654 1900) Mr. Kartik Seth (Sales Executive), who are the distributors for Vodafone. We were informed about a Corporate Group Plan as follows : (Mumbai/Maharashtra/Goa) Vodafone to Vodafone 0.49 Paise, Vodafone to any Network 0.49 Paise, Vodafone to Landline 0.49 Paise, Monthly Rental Rs.274, UNLIMITED INTERNAL CALLING FREE FOR 10 PEOPLE GROUP, OTHER VALUE ADDED SERVICES LIFE TIME FREE (ROAMING CHARGES/VOICE MAIL CHARGES/GP RS ACTIVATION CHARGES/CONFERENCE FACILITY CHARGES/ITEMWISE BILLING/CALLER ID), SMS flat charges for Mumbai/Maharashtra/Goa Rs.1/-, SMS National Rs.2/-, SMS International Rs.5/-, Roaming Voice Charges / STD - OUTGOING Rs.2.40, INCOMING CHARES Rs.1.75, BLACKBERRY MONTHLY RENTAL Rs. 1, 099/- WITH UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD FREE (NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL).
We were asked to pay Rs.7, 000/- against refundable deposit (for new 13 connections) which would be credited against our future billls. We made the payment accordingly.
Before making the payments the Executive Mr. Kartik from Global Direct used to regularly visit us and chase us for payment. We properly decided 4 Groups for this plan and handed over to him for activation / plan conversion for the existing users and the new numbers. He had committed that once we get the new SIM cards he would visit once and make sure that all the things are in line.
The harrassment started for the begning itself - followup for firstly receiving the New SIM Cards. Once we distributed the cards to our executives we were surprised to see the messages on the cellphones with different groups (not as per our requirements). We tried to contact Mr. Kartik & Mr. Ashish from Global Direct as we were informed by Vodafone customer care that we may have to speak to Global Direct for this issue. Secondly one of the SIM have a outgoing & incoming restriction.
Mr. Kartik & Mr. Ashish from Global Direct avoided all our calls and never turned up again for the solution. We then approached the nearest Vodafone Gallery with a request letter. We came to know the below mentioned facts: THE NEW NUMBERS WERE NOT IN ANY CORPORATE PLAN, WEREAS IT WAS IN THE PLAN OF 149 MONTHLY RENTAL 125 FOR 50 PAISE FLAT RATE & CALLER ID. IT WAS NOT A CORPORATE PLAN - IT WAS JUST A GROUP TALK PLAN FOR INDIVIDUALS. SECONDLY THE VODAFONE CUSTOMER CARE WE NOT ABLE TO VERIFY THE GROUPINGS. WE WERE ASKED TO SUBMIT THE VODAFONE GROUP TALK PLAN FORM AGAIN.
Now we have to pay for all the false commitments and mistakes done by Global Direct (billings for false grouping / itemised billing etc...). We were assured by Mr. Kartik verbally that if any thing goes wrong Global Direct will bear the expenses. How could we trust this??? Else in future how can we deal with any distributoirs/Dealers of reputed service providers???
Now the group plan is being used by all our directors and top management. They are planning to just switch to other service providers incase we are not able to get the problem solved as per our requirement as this is not solving our purpose.
We may appreciate a solution for this / else guide us with the proper authority/governing body for such complaints.
