Cheque issued by EPF bounced

Am an ex employee of Caritor India Pvt Ltd (now Kean)

My PF number is KN/18616/ 2183

I had submitted application to withdraw EPF following which I got a cheque from SBI, Banglore of amt Rs 42, 447 (cheque number 126261) which was subsequently deposited in ICICI, Hyderabad branch. However it has returned unrealized with the reason " Cheque already presented on 21/12". I am not sure what does it mean as cheque is dated 05/06.

It has been months i have been following up with SBI people but to no avail.

Please help.
