Good morning
A courier arrived at my house this morning to deliver a keyboard, keyboard stand and cable for my daughter. He had one light box on him which he handed over to me and told me to sign a delivery acceptance form. I asked to read the form but was told it only needed a signiture. He allowed me to open the top part of the box to confirm. It contained only a keyboard stand. I advised him that the box only appeared to contain a keyboard stand and no keyboard or adaptor. He replied that something was not delivered to his company this morning and because I had opened the box I had accepted delivery. I told him that I could not sign the delivery acceptance form unless I endorsed it with an entry that only the stand had been delivered. This was not acceptable to him and he wrote REFUSED TO SIGN. I asked him why he was being difficult with me and he raised his voice and told me that he would take it away. I told him that I was a lawyer and I was entitled to know what I was signing for. I asked him not to raise his voice as my 9 year old daughter was becoming dstressed. He walked off. I asked him for his name and he responded George.
I advised the music store of the position immediately - ref Tony.
I am disgusted with the appalling attitude and lack of courtesy.
